Before you post something online, stop and think about what you’re doing, and make sure you’re being safe.
- When you feel yourself getting angry, take a step back, clam down, and make sure you’re not over-reacting
- If you’re going to be stupid, be smart about it. Don’t post things online that will get you in trouble.
- The people you meet online may not be who they say they are, so be careful with how close you get with them.
- Once something is posted, its out forever, you can’t take it back.
- Make sure your account settings are on private, that way you can choose who can and can’t see what you post.
